The Apprentice - Tokin ‘yo and friends

Tokin’ Yo Sexwale - Our answer to Donald Trump? Hmm. Hope you weren’t holding your breath. This man fumbles through everything, stammers at the simplest of dialogues and would be left speechless if not for his 2 powerhouse side-kicks. I don’t think Tokyo knows how to do it like he’s doing it for TV. In fact I think the dude is struggling to adapt to being televised. But he’s the only one who’s camera aware and struggling with it. Go …

Batman is Phat man!

I saw Batman this weekend. NEWS FLASH! - BATMAN WAS TRAINED BY NINJA! And I didn’t know. How kewl is that?

And not the good dictator-assasinating-freedom-fighter Ninja kind either. Like Leonardo, Donatello and Michaelangelo. These were sinister, agro, meeeaaan Ninja. Just like you find here:
Worlds best Ninja Website . But Batman rises above man, oh yes he does, because he has intergrity, style and brains. Thank goodness they didn’t use Tom Cruise as Batman, imagine the hold …

SAA Flight 621

I don’t get to fly that often, so when I scored a nice website deal last week, I decided to fly to Cape Town for the wknd. I haven’t seen my folks and friends in the mother city for quite a while now, so why not…

Naturally I was quite excited, but I managed to restrain myself from looking like an ethiopian kid at a buffet. As I boarded the plane I couldn’t help but notice the captain in …

A real South African legend…

Drums rolling, lights flashing, smoke billowing around and obscuring our view while a figure emerges from the the shadow. Standing tall and solid, manly and confident. This is a true South African legend. The smoke clears, the lights focus… and there he is, the very thing that legends are made of. Wielding a Klippies and Coke in the one hand and proudly jingling the keys to his canary yellow XR6 in the other. Complete with rugby toggs (pronounced tawks) and …

Quality vs Quantity

Along with thousands, nay, millions of people around the globe, I’ve been trying to fitten myself up. So I’ve replaced the MacDonalds and other fat-bastard food with salads and seafood. No problem. I got a gym membership about 6 or so months back, but now that I’ve moved flats, I’m like an extra 8km’s and a number of busy intersections further from the gym - its a cosmic conspiracy I tell you!

Anyways, never to be defeated, I’ve started jogging. …

Wallace & Gromit

Brilliant! Finally the boys at Dreamworks have signed on the dotted line and agreed to support the release of the new, full-length Wallace & Gromit Movie. Jeffrey Katzenberg has confirmed that it’ll be released around October 2005. Sweet.

Initially the film was due for release over Thanksgiving period, 2004 but so much for that idea! I reckon, more so than real-actor movies, these kinds of films can be forgiven for going a bit …

You gotta love the Japenese, they don’t get nearly enough credit for the HUGE dent they have made on society though. No rather we ridicule and make fun of , as usual, it’s just more fun. Here are some the unfortunates:

Styling Crib and Stuff

I moved into a new flat last week… Man what a wikkid pozzie. Its huuge! The lounge alone is 9 x 6m.

I’m organising a house warming on the 2nd of July, and am accepting gifts via the post for those of you who aren’t in Port Elizabeth… **cough*PS2*cough**.

If you’re bored enough to stop and think about it (which, in the absense of a TV at home, I am), there is actually a major chain of events that is perpetually …
