Smarts

how long will u hide all that u are?
how long will u seperate the good from the bad
are you not who you are now
why are you trying to be someone else?

not everybody we confide in we should
not so much trust we give we should
not everybody we love we should
because not everybody we love we do…

not every desire we share we should
not every words written but spoken we should
not our own hearts betray we should
because in the end it’s …

How far is too far?

So I’m all for good branding. I was standing in the shower the other day, lost for something to do, and I found myself thinking what a great name was chosen for what has been probably Apple’s biggest seller, the iPod. Clever, short, catchy, techie and kinda yuppy-ish too.

Perfect for today’s youth.

But then began the onslaught of products that followed suit either by their names using the ‘i’ prefix or by companies making accessories for the Ipod.

Great, side-companies making …

Only in America

Thats a tagline that one seems to hear all too often right before you read or hear something unbelievable. Not unbelievable as in “Wow, thats incredible!..”, but more unbelievalbe as in “Wow, someone actually tried/did that?” Its a regular pairing of occurances and its almost as synonymous as the phrase “Hey ya’ll, check this out…” which is heard right before a hillbilly dies.

So here we go, yet another, ‘only in America’ story.

You know the $20 bill rite?

Rite, now take one, …

Whats worse than crime?

I must be honest, when I first moved into my flat, I was pretty happy about the security there. Its a huge and somewhat intimidating block with high-rise, electrified fencing, the whole shebang. Every door leading in and out of the place is automatic, ie controlled by a boom so that you can’t force the door open. Residents have a key-card type thingie that allows access to these doors.

Pretty safe huh?

Bzzzzt…

My car has been broken into twice, in the …

Feed Adsense or not…?

This is one particular topic that I haven’t been able to find a conclusive answer to. Some are in favor of putting adsense in their ATOM & RSS feeds and others not.

Those against it say that regular readers/subscribers to a blog feed shouldn’t have to be subjected to advertising in the feed. I can understand this point of view because guys that are regular readers, read the articles because they enjoy the content and thus subscribe to enjoy the core …
