Daylight savings time
Whoomp there it is. It was bound to happen, I can't even count how many times I've whined about this. Kulula (Xhosa for free - from kululeka, freedom (correct me if i'm wrong (brackets in brackets :: kewl))) has decided to petition the Government to institute DST. Katrina
I must admit, The Yellow Llama hasn't had any comments or posts regarding Katrina. I've been out of the news loop for the most part and at the risk of sounding perhaps even a bit apathetic, I'm kinda glad. In many cases, events like these leave in its aftermath a a plethy of heart warming stories that are likely spread to increase morale and highlight that there are still good people around. Karts and Pixies
My much anticipated weekend of fun was all that and much more. Friday's go-karting escapades saw me get my hiney whipped on the track and left me with a number of bruises resulting from a few wide corners and some terrible driving. The evenings' excitement came from a kart that burst into flames when an overfilled tank spilt over the sparkplugs. Fun fun.
