Branson banned from Polokwane
Why don't you pick on somebody your own size? While Dick was playing with his toys the evil bureaucrats of Virgin de-registered a smaaall little Polokwane company for using the word Virgin in it's name. Who was gonna notice really? "Damn Lawyers" I thought. That was my knee jerk reaction anyway, and then I read the full name of the company: "Virgin Child Productions" ??? They really were doing us a favour. Sounds like ...

Uhuru? U who ru?
There are far too many documents available for this to be a hoax. It seems that there hasn't been much word of it being denied by authorities either. What to do what to do? Build a fall-out shelter maybe? Uhuru - according to many sources, in South Africa upon Mandela's death there is to be a genocide of epic proportions in which a coup will oust T-Bone and replace him with Cyril Ramaphosa while all the white people are slaughtered like ...

Scientology, Birthing and TomKat
I have to confess that I'm shamelessly addicted to a leading South African gossip magazine. In it, I've found many references to Tom Cruise and his religious orientation - the Church of Scientology (founded in 1954). Nowadays, it seems as though many celebs feel it would boost their careers if they were seen to be affiliated with a certain religion.

Alanis Morissette does a Seal…
Song! If there's one thing we all hate, it's gotta be a bad artist doing a bad cover song. This, isn't one of those. I gotta give props to Alanis for her cover of "Crazy" originally by the very intriguing artist, Seal. Arf arf. Alanis covers Seal, Crazy Even more intriguing is who he's married to. Heidi Klum. - Arf arf :: Tried to find some pics ...

Halloween Creativity
I'll avoid the temptation to title yet another post, 'only in America', but its yet again true in this case. Here in South Africa, Halloween isn't a big thing at all. In fact I've never had kids show up at my door and I think this past weekend I only saw one small group of kids covered in sheets and home-made masks. The Americans are something else though. Its HUGE there. Whilst the majority of Halloween celebrations and antics are ...
