South Korea hates Google Earth

Haha… The evil monks over in South Korea must’ve soiled their shorts when, whilst surfing the globe with Google Earth, they discovered there for everyone to see was their supposedly secret army base.

An ingenius evil plan unwittingly foiled by geeks…

South Korea are throwing their toys and armoury out of the cot at the US Google Earth saying that it could aid their arch-enemies North Korea and lead to their downfall.

South Korean newspapers said that it was shocking to see “images of the presidential Blue House and military bases”. So what now? Will Google have to stick giant red “CENSORED” labels over sensitive areas? Where’s the fun in that?

Spot the badly hidden B52?

Haha..

Yeah, that picture is of the Korean War Memorial. I live down the street from it. Every single plane is cemented into the ground and obviously de-commissioned and on display for historical purposes.. Much like the memorials back in the States. The Blue House is the President’s House and of course they are going to be upset about military bases. The two Koreas are technically still in a state of war. Visiting the DMZ was enough to show just how prepared both sides are to fight to the death.

Did you really think that a military base would be designed so nicely (complete with a dome and tiled courtyard) and smack dab in the middle of Seoul? Where did you get the information for this post anyway?

“All your base are belong to us.” (Japanese, by the way.)
