Pictures from the Billabong Pro 2006, Jeffreys Bay

Yup, its that time again, the Jeffreys Bay Billabong Pro has been happening for the last couple of weeks and the surf has been rocking so far. All the big names on the World Tour have been ripping it up and as usually, Jeffrey’s bay has been inundated with surfers, surflovers, groupies, and drunk teenagers.

Thanks to MaxH, we have some Billabong Pro 2006 photos from last Friday’s action. If you’re terribly bored and …

Hi, my name is Mark, and I’m colorblind

Ja, ja, get the jokes over with - I’m a colorblind web designer. Laugh it up - you’re all going to hell.

My very caring and sensitive friend recently reminded me of the fact that I’m actually colorblind, when I happened to point out a grey wall that was actually green… grayish green. So I’m not 100% colorblind - I mean I can see when the traffic lights go …

Audio Streaming

I recently discovered the marvels of audio streaming and man, there’s a whack of awesome radio stations and music channels that churn out the most incredible tunes.

Digitally Imported Radio is mostly a dance music channel, but it features 24 hour streaming of Trance, Vocal Trance, Chillout, House, Hard Dance, Euro Dance, Progressive, Goa/Psy Trance, Hard Core, DJ Sets, Ambient, Lounge and a kak load of others. In addition, for the not-so-dance-inclined, there’s an impressive …

Is SA Ready for 2010?

I must be honest, after seeing the Germany World Cup - their facilities, their organizational skills etc… I really don’t think South Africa is ready for the 2010 World Cup. Nevermind the lack of accommodation (PE is estimated to be about 30 000 beds short of the required amount), what about the transport?… or lack thereof… So you reckon SA is ready?

No Scruf!

Here’s a question for the guys: What do you like most about the ladies? Without getting dodge, what do you enjoy about their form? Its probably not at the top of your list, but I’m sure that somewhere on that list, you’re gonna have something about their legs - smooth, shaven, silky legs. Right?

Ja, well then you’re probably not gonna be happy with a new movement known as No-Scruf - National Organization of Social …

How to score points with chicks

There’s a joke that goes along the lines of a genie who denies a man the wish of a 6 lane highway between Austrailia and South Africa because its an impossible task, when the man then wishes to understand women, the genie asks how many lanes he wants that highway… Basically it goes with the age old challenge presented to all men, to try and understand women. Some try, most fail, some claim to but are misguided…its the bane of …

Ola!

Wow, it’s incredible to be applying my nimble little fingers to the white backend of the coolest website on the internet once again. I must admit that I have missed it something chronic. How about the NEW Llama ey? It’s awesome, like sinking into a warm tub of goo - naked - goo that vibrates.

So if Mark’ll have me, I’m back and ready to dis cool people all over the world to make up for my inadequacy.

Peace outty

Eish, lets hear it for a hiatus

Hiatus: suspension, an interruption in the intensity or amount of something
Ok so dang, I know… its been a while, but I got a new design thats about 70% or so done and I got loads of ideas and stuff I wanna try out in the coming months. Most of the writers on The Yellow Llama have become otherwise involved so for the next while, I’ll more than likely be the only guy writing.
So whats been …
