Why don’t you pick on somebody your own size?
While Dick was playing with his toys the evil bureaucrats of Virgin de-registered a smaaall little Polokwane company for using the word Virgin in it’s name. Who was gonna notice really? “Damn Lawyers” I thought. That was my knee jerk reaction anyway, and then I read the full name of the company: “Virgin Child Productions” ??? They really were doing us a favour.
Sounds like a baby making factory. Are they a clinic specialsed in delivering children? Who DOESN’T make virgin children?
Whatever, they should have never registered that name in the first place. Polokwane is more like another country than a province. But the Registrar of companies in PTA would have to have seen it, so I don’t know.

I used to work with registering company/cc names all the time. The registrar is usually quite sticky with regard to the names. Unfortunately, they would have looked at the entire name and its principle business and if they don’t see any patent comparitive names, bobs ur uncle, they register it. Prob is that they both seem to have the same type of business - both entertainment. Not sure why CIPRO still registered it. I just did a search on CIPRO and there’s even a company named “THE HELLENIC ORTHODOX CHURCH OF THE VIRGIN MARY PANTANASSA”. Mmm, is Mr Branson gonna deregister that 1 too? Nah, I get what ur saying, tho.
