Kanye West, American rapper decided to seize the day and hold his own personal expose recently at the expense of none other than the victims of hurricane Katrina. Sad as it is, it’s also frikkin hilarious…
Kanye who was paired up with Mike Myers on a U.S disaster relief TV special decided to meander a little from his prepared monologue and create a little disaster of his own. Kanye’s comments include things like, :: “I hate the way they portray us in the media. If you see a black family, it says they’re looting. See a white family, it says they’re looking for food” ::
“to help the poor, the black people, the less well-off as slow as possible” and the big finish ::
“George Bush doesn’t care about black people”
What’s more is that the entire impromptu lashing was delivered in flawless pre-school english.
After I laughed my @ss off I realised how sad it is that one person can be so selfish and use the suffering of thousands of people as a platform to make racial accusations. If we wanted to listen to his crap we would buy his records. It’s not about you Kanye, or your people, it’s about everybody, black or white, cat or dog that is suffering in a way that you will never experience. Besides, George Bush doesn’t care much about anyone, why just showcase one situation.
Anyhoo, I did enjoy watching Mike swallowing hard and being obviously shocked. Too bad they cut away from Kanye after he exposed George W.
