Netucation
After meeting Ramon Thomas at the first 27 Dinner in Port Elizabeth, he approached The Yellow Llama and requested that we put forth a new design for his Netucation website. Our first draft was well received and we went ahead and coded this WordPress theme for his existing WP site. We played with a little jQuery for the sidebar's accordion effect and used a nice little plugin to display unique icons for each category which really liven's up ...

Arthur Goldstuck - World Wide Worx
I had a good time working on this site. Arthur was a great client and he was really supportive of doing what it took to take his site to a great new level. We designed a light on dark theme that has more or less a 50/50 split between blog content and normal business related content. The approved design was then converted into a WordPress theme. The new design is slick, professional and is more representative of the Arthur's business. View the ...

Ginger Restaurant
The Ginger Restaurant website project was a fun project to work on. I had creative license to create a top quality website that would echo the elegant vibe & atmostphere of the restaurant itself. The site had to have a level of elegance, whilst at the same time being slick and fun. The angled edges that are 'out of the box' provide the edgy feel that the client was looking for, whilst the smooth javascript image fader provides a ...

Legal Eyes Clothing
The Legal Eyes Clothing website is a 'one pager' designed for Brett Rudolph, a client of Cafe Print. The website had little need for oodles of content and thus we felt that a CMS was not required. a jQuery thickbox was used to showcase the 3 product ranges of Legal Eyes. The design is bold and funky and proved to be much to the clients liking. What we did for them: Photoshop Design XHTML/CSS Coding jQuery Thickbox Visit the Legal Eyes Clothing website

Ilovani House
Ilovani house was designed for our client who wanted a web presence to direct potential renters of his incredible St Francis Bay home. The site makes a lot of use of AJAX and some flash for the stunning photo galleries on the site. Scriptaculous powers the 'slide-down' enquiry form which is processed using AJAX. All in all, a powerful, elegant and interactive site for Ilovani House. Photoshop Design Handcoded in XHTML & CSS Slide-down effect on enquiry form with Scriptaculous Form ...

SnapCoders
We kinda jumped on the bandwagon with this one, following a trend in the US for design companies to offer a low cost, speedy coding service that provides quality coding with a fast turnaround time. The response to the design has been good, with it being showcased on CSSMania (thanks guys). SnapCoders used some new AJAX techniques thanks to the guys at Stickman Labs. The home page features the Lightbox 2 AJAX technique, and the ...

Nelson Mandela Bay
A new and much anticipated initiative to create a reversal of the braindrain on Port Elizabeth was launched this year. NelsonMandelaBay.biz is the front of this drive and it aims to create a better awareness of the wonders that is Port Elizabeth. As this is my current home town, I was privileged to be given the chance of designing this site and thus far the response has been quite positive.
