Petrel Computer Consultants

Well its finished, Petrel Computer Consultants… NOT Petrel CC (I’ve still got the scars from when I last referred to it as Petrel CC)… has been launched. Their old website looked… well… *ahem*.. how do I put this.. (bearing in mind that the client reads this blog)… Um.. Well it looked crap. :D
Thankfully, to the web stylings of The Yellow Llama, Petrel Computer Consultants have a shiny new website.
What the heck do they do?
Petrel Computer Consultants has established …

For those that haven’t seen the movie Along Came Polly, you probably won’t be familiar with the definition of the word ‘Shart’. Let me enlighten you, nay, actually, let Wikipedia enlighten …

DHTML version of Mac OS X

I haven’t had any experience in DHTML or Javascript but I’ve seen some pretty good examples of its usage in creating ‘movable’ websites and creating some nice fluid effects without having to use Flash.

This is however, the best example of DHTML & Java that I’ve seen. They’ve created a site that has a Mac OS X interface, complete with customized ‘right-click’ menu and that funky rollover menu at the bottom of the screen.
