CSS Reboot 2005 - The Yellow Llama

celebrate

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the all new, Yellow Llama. :)

This is the first time that I’ve been part of something so awesome. Last time I checked this morning, there were over 960 rebooters from all over the world. I love the fact that I’ve been able to be a part of something like this.

The initial site design was purely focused on my blog. This design however, I wanted to tweak my SEO a bit more and capitalize on some of the search results I’ve been getting. Thus I changed things around focused this design slightly more towards my web design work. My portfolio is uptodate and looking quite nice i think :)

I was here @ 5:30am this morning making sure that everything was working and fortunately, I was able to iron out a few glitches that were buggin the site. I’m yet to validate the XHTML and CSS & get rid of the odd error, but that should be done by tomorrow.

The two things I still want to add is a page for each of my authors so that you guys can get to know the team behind The Yellow Llama a bit better, and a guestbook where you can leave your name, email and or IM details. That’ll be coming in the next two weeks.

Once again, thanks to CSS Reboot for organizing such a legend event. Good luck to all my fellow rebooters and here’s to another year of CSS magic.

I’d love to hear your comments on my design. If you find any problems on the site, please let me know.

those flowers are 4m’s tall! in order to get the flower heads in the shot, Mark had to point the camera up, thereby moving the lanky llama out of the picture!
