First impressions

How unabashedly shallow I am? How boring and how totally uninterested you are in my comments. Tsk tsk its seems you guys (and one girl) are all so fantastically profound and interesting and not to mention the owners of the number one read blog around the country! I found it incredibly hard to believe and somewhat disturbing that from one blog – one thought – one entry I have now been labelled the ‘unabashedly shallow’ and totally boring blog writer – so be it.
Maybe you tend not to agree with me as from face value you believe I only talk girly girly talk – but in response to reflections on my blog I write:
First impressions are misleading – let’s talk about me.
All men out there – yes including you – think woman need to have a passion for sports to fit in with yourselves – and yes most of us do – even including myself. I love sport (shocked and utterly confused?) – I also sat up till half eleven last night and the night before to watch some of the most important games of the Champions league, I also shed a tear as Liverpool sadly lost to Benfica and I also fell asleep angry last night. So does this make me more acceptable – more competent to write here on the ‘guys blog?’ Does it make woman more acceptable if we act more manly? So if I write about politics, my impressions on the Zuma case, last nights soccer or the sounds that farts make at different sitting angles – does that make me ‘more’ acceptable and less ‘unabashedly shallow’?
Or does it simply make me less myself. If I am a girly girl so be it – read and move on.
