HAL-5 Robot suit for old folk

You gotta love the Japenese, they don’t get nearly enough credit for the HUGE dent they have made on society though. No rather we ridicule and make fun of , as usual, it’s just more fun. Here are some the unfortunates:

Divets:

And here is how the Japs redeem themselves:

Dents:
HAL-5

This suit is incredible. HOWEVER… They’re putting these things on old people to assist them to climb stairs and lift heavy objects and stuff. The same people that may suffer from Alzeimers, Irritable bowel syndrome and Parkinsons. Do they not foresee a problem here? Imagine the destruction caused when a HAL-5 donning Parkinsons sufferer goes to buy Fine China, Pump Gas or handle a Nuclear Reactor. Problem!

In think this problem would even bring on a whole new Genre of movies. Forget Godzilla, imagine Grandma (wearing HAL-5 and suffering from Alzeimers) Lost in Tokyo! Pure Chaos Man!!!

The introduction of HAL-5 would also most likely see the onslaught of a whole new breed of geriatric assasins. Super human abilities, trained to kill, lethal and forgetful. What better person to use as a hitman than someone who honestly can’t implicate you due to short term memory loss?

And then there’s always the inevitable… What if Grandma dies while wearing HAL-5? You wouldn’t even know, she may even carry on walking in random directions until she’s finally hi-jacked somewhere in Jo’burg or Sao Paulo.

Are we looking forward to HAL-5? Does the Pope crap in the woods? Of course we are. Big up to the Japs for another cooker!

Lmao

Ah 10 points bru.. very funny article.

You gotta hand it to them though, they’re the worlds most creative and most persistance inventors…

I’m seeing more of a problem though, with initially getting into the damn thing! I mean imagine if it comes ’some-assembly-required’, that’d just be rude. Can you just imagine the possibility for hackers..sneaking up on grandma and plugging into her USB port. Thats just a whole new form of violation…

Although it does open a whole new field of gaming… Maybe I’ll get one for my mom & one for my dad. A couple of bluetooth controllers and I can play mechwarrior in my lounge…

“Yes, I’ll take two thank you…”
