Yeah I know, being kewl by your own standards does not neccessarily mean that you’re kewl, BUT, I think you might find this fun ::
It’s a little test that you can try almost anywhere. What you need:
1 x girl, woman or female, heck even a chick would do… one that’s game for a laugh and not too stuck up to try new things.
…and that’s all you need. Now now, I know what you’re thinking, but it’s not that kind of test, you sick little girls and boys. Once you have at least one girl ready to participate ask her to ……. Make the sound of a car slamming on breaks and screeeeeeching to a stop!
…She can’t do it! How about a Harley Davidson starting up - Nope again! What about an F1 car flying down a straight? BWAHAHAHA! Still not.
Why is it that girls just cannot make sound effects? Isn’t that a bit weird? Maybe not, cause men can’t carry babies or breast feed, so I guess that kind of evens it out. Lucky men. It’s true though, just try it. Chicks just can’t do it. And for guys it’s so easy, we can even make sound effects with other parts of our bodies. Like our hands, and feet (but I know what you were thinking, mphh hahaha). So a typical story would go:
Guy: So this frickin fricker fracker slams on breaks and errrrrr, screeech, BAM!
Girl: Tsk tsk, how did it go?
Guy: errrrrr, screeech, BAM! Just like I said. (no problem)
It’s funny man, most girls wont even try, and even if they do try - once the chuckling has subsided there’s NO WAY they’ll try again. EVER! But mostly, when you challenge them to it, they’ll just think really hard for a second and then pretend that they’re really busy or tell you that you smell funny. But I get that alot anyway, so maybe that’s just me.
If you are a girl (please notice how I ignore the opportunity here to randomly suggest that one of the guys on this blog is actually a girl) and you CAN make sound effects, we need to know about it. If you’re a guy, a real guy, not like Mark (please notice how I did not ignore the opportunity here to randomly suggest that one of the guys on this blog is actually a girl) please have as much fun with this is possible and be sure to report back if you do ever find a chick that does a really impressive F1 at-high-revs impression.
