How far is too far?
So I’m all for good branding. I was standing in the shower the other day, lost for something to do, and I found myself thinking what a great name was chosen for what has been probably Apple’s biggest seller, the iPod. Clever, short, catchy, techie and kinda yuppy-ish too.
Perfect for today’s youth.
But then began the onslaught of products that followed suit either by their names using the ‘i’ prefix or by companies making accessories for the Ipod.
Great, side-companies making money, making jobs and everyone’s happy.
I’ve personally had enough though, of the ‘i’ generation. Please people, come on now… We know the iPod rocks. Leave it be now.
How far is too far? Well I think this is waaay too far.
