It has been accomplished. Well almost
Dammit, I couldn’t wait any longer. I just COULDN’T!!
Here you go guys, the all new ‘The Yellow Llama‘. It’s been a long time coming, but I reckon this’ll be a design that’ll stand the test of time… Well at least for another year, hopefully. Here’s what I’ve done:
- Fresh, freggan awesome design
- AJAX Features
- Ajax Live Search - Try it… you know you want to. I’ve tested it in IE 6 (because IE7 sucks hairy donkey bollocks) FF, Safari etc… If you have issues, lemme know.
- Ajax Commenting - Go ahead, leave a comment… Its pretty
- Comprehensive portfolio. All the latest projects I’m busy working on at the moment. I must finish that template with a contact form etc in the green section at the bottom.
There’s still a bit of work to do - I need to finish up the “What we do” section at the bottom right. And I need to complete the search template etc. I’ll be getting to that shortly.
Oh, and I also wanted to mention… You’ll notice in the footer - bottom left, there’s the Adobe Logo. Yup, I was recently accepted as an accredited ‘Adobe Community Expert’ for Dreamweaver and Photoshop. This means that I’m involved in Dreamweaver & Photoshop coming releases, beta testing, book & tutorial writing, forum assistance and much more. I get my own personal bio on the Adobe site and I get $2100 worth of software every 6 months. Score!
Anyways, I officially give to you - The 90% completed, all new, all fresh, The Yellow Llama :)
Use responsibly.
I would like to know how you achieved some of the visual effects, but then again, i am so lazy, I use the WordPress community for everything these days, the last time I did any CSS was about 3 months ago…
Rocket, I plan to write a few tutorials on how I achieved some of these effects soon. Some of them are Wordpress based, but mostly just CSS that’d work on any platform.
It’s… it’s…. beauteeful!!
Very, very totally rad son!! awesom colours!
Very cool man, very cool. I tried the search, it worked (i’m impressed - hehe) but the reason for this pointless…urrr…point is that i’m using IE7 and it works. :)
i dunno GreggA, IE7 just never seemed to work for me. bombed out continually.. so got hacked off and put IE6 back. maybe I’ll try again lata.
its lovely my sweets. you’re my hero
