L33t Designer – Web Designer Reality Show
Hmm… this is, if nothing else, an interesting tactic to create something ‘new’ on the web. In a world where reality shows capture the attentions of probably millions who want to know which chef won, who dissed Paris, which playmate got nookie… now online geeks (myself included) can find out which web designer won.
Enter L33t Designer, a soon-to-be-launched web reality show were contestants – web designers – are given challenges to complete in a limited amount of time. Viewers vote on the winner and ultimately, the big winner stands to win $5 000. Not a bad payout.
Not to be a party pooper, I’ve enrolled and I’m waiting to see what is all involved. The website doesn’t provide much in the way of information about the actual tasks to be performed… I might be way out of my league.. who knows. But I’m willing to give it a shot. I’ll keep you posted.
