Lacoste Sharts
Keen blogger Chris Tingom over at Brainfuel found the Lacoste site and made a couple of very pertinent observations on the sights layout and functionality. However, when I went to go have a look myself, I made another rather startling discovery.
For those that haven’t seen the movie Along Came Polly, you probably won’t be familiar with the definition of the word ‘Shart’. Let me enlighten you, nay, actually, let Wikipedia enlighten you:
Shart is a portmanteau (mixture) of sh*t and fart, and refers to a fart that results in the soiling of ones pants/underwear.
Basically, in laymans terms, its a lumpy fart.
Now let me explain how this relates to Lacoste.
As I was choosing my flash options on the Lacoste site, I looked down to the bottom left of my screen and noticed the following revealing statement:
‘Poopup’?
I’ll just point out at this juncture that that is surely meant to be ‘popup’?
Now either the programmer was coding the last few lines before he raced off to go unload in the bathroom and his mind was purely focused on the turtlehead in his pants, or he was subtly trying to make comments on the supposed poopiness of the Lacoste product.
Hmmm….
