i agree with everyone who disagrees with The_Apathy. He/She is obviously just another asshole who takes offense to anything that involves race, even though he/she is probably white.
Actually, all of the sperm work that reach the egg. In fact, they even work together, in a sort of overall benefit. They also wage coordinated war on other sperm. So applying that as a metaphor for mexicans: they come in great numbers, work together selflessly for community benefit, and are fiercely patriotic. +1 for ignorance

Actually, The_Apathy is right. It is wrong, offensive and innacurate on both fact and analogy. More immigrants are in work than americans or british by ratio of able to work, are working, studies show. Plus, the sperm is just as important as the egg, so without one the other would have no use. How does having multiple sperm going for the one ‘prize’ work. The analogy actually translates as millions apply for one job, if you are on that route.
