New Beginnings
Things have been quiet on The Yellow Llama for a few days now. Rumor has it that 2006 has been a bastard of a year so far for most people. Not sure if its a combination of the results of slacking off during the December months, or just an influx of new business, but all our writers have been grafting seriously at their 9-5′s. Karen and Sarah are snowed under with normal work, whilst Dale has been busy taking over a new company, or trying to buy it back..not sure, but either way, its stressful stuff.

Personally, a lot has changed in the last few weeks. My resignation was accepted by my current company and February is officially my last month working for them. I’ve been offered a job by a company based in Cape St Francis as a full time web designer. As of March, I’ll be working from home and enjoying the freedom of working in my underwear.
I was glad to end off on a good note with my current employer. I hate to burn bridges and fortunately, things ended well here. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my boss David for the fantastic opportunity that he afforded me in working for his company. The skills and experienced I gained has proved invaluable. I’d like to thank Wayne, design & CSS guru, for helping me to think outside the box. Thanks to Frenchie for his assistance and mentoring in the ways of neat coding. A huge thank you to Fredix who taught me so much and always helped me out with virtual smile on his face. Shot Fred. It’s been a blast guys, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working along with you. I wish you all the best for the months and years to come.
My office is getting set up nicely at home and I’m looking forward to having everything in order. I’ll post some pictures soon. In the mean time, here’s some pics of my Cape Town Holiday (more to come).
