Sahara Computers aren’t in stock

What is it with freggan computer suppliers who never have anything in stock? Why call yourself a computer supplier if you cannot make up a full computer because you don’t have half the items in stock??
In 2 years of buying from Sahara Computers in Port Elizabeth, I have been able to order a full computer once! Every single other time I’ve called to order a computer from them (about once every 2 to 3 months), I’ve had to skimp on parts or order things I didn’t want in the first place because they never had stock of the item I wanted, or I’ve had to buy the parts I wanted from retail outlets. I’ve just gotten off the phone with Sahara Computer Port Elizabeth and once again, I’ve had to cancel the order and tell my client there’s no stock of ANYTHING!
I tried to order 512mb DDR2 Memory - no stock… only 1gb in stock.. there goes hyperthreading out the window.
I tried to order an MSI board with onboard graphics - no stock… in fact I was told they don’t have a single motherboard in stock with on board graphics… and the cheapest graphics card they have is over R2000!!!
I tried to order a DVD writer and they don’t have stock.
Now come on Sahara… What the hell is your problem?? If you don’t have stock of DVD writers… Memory and Motherboards.. What exactly are you a computer dealer of?? Here’s a newsflash - you need computer parts to sell if you’re going to call yourself a computer supplier.
When I spoke to a girl called Tilana about my problem of nothing ever being in stock, I was told “Well the problem isn’t going to be fixed overnight…” Well thats a fine attitude huh? Thats the way to get to the top.
Thing is, this isn’t a once off occurence… every single time I’ve come to Sahara to order something, I’ve had to change my order because they never had stock of simple basic items.
Seriously Sahara, get your act together guys. I mean I’m no business professional, but common logic tells me that when you start running low of something, you order it. Don’t wait until you run out to suddenly wake up and then order. Because you know what happens Sahara? You piss your clients off. And you know what pissed off clients do?
They start buying from other places.
You can own and sponsor as many cricket grounds as you like Sahara, but if your core business of suppling computer can’t be properly managed, its not gonna do you any good.
Now where’s that Rectron dealership application…
