Scientology, Birthing and TomKat

Tom
I have to confess that I’m shamelessly addicted to a leading South African gossip magazine. In it, I’ve found many references to Tom Cruise and his religious orientation - the Church of Scientology (founded in 1954). Nowadays, it seems as though many celebs feel it would boost their careers if they were seen to be affiliated with a certain religion. Example being the recent spate of celebs sporting red strings around their wrists, which is emblematic of their affiliation with the Kabbalah faith. My interest was stirred as to what exactly this scientology thing was all about so I googled it and found some info on the following site:

www.scientology.org

The word Scientology literally means “the study of truth.” It comes from the Latin word “scio” meaning “knowing in the fullest sense of the word” and the Greek word “logos” meaning “study of.” Scientology is the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, others and all of life.

Most recently, I found it interesting reading in this “chit-chat” mag about the strange expectations Katie Holmes is to live up to when she births the spawn of Mr Cruise. Katie will purportedly have to adhere to the following rules during childbirth:

  1. Remaining silent during birth (that means no conversation either)
  2. The room is to remain completely noiseless with dimmed lights (no calming music is allowed in the background)
  3. There is to be no medical intervention unless there is an emergency, and Katie is to make a concerted effort to go though this process naturally and without painkillers!

I’m definitely glad I’m not her. A visit to the dentist is about as traumatic an experience I’m willing to endure! And even then I’m prone to screaming: “Oh my God, I’m gonna die!” There goes the noiseless room theory.

All I can say is, all the best Katie!

So then, do ya’ll know why Tom is getting it on with the chick from Dawson’s crack… Tom was caught in bed with fellow actor and good friend [REMOVED]! So then the media got hold the story, made it all gayish and Tom didn’t know what to do, so he shaged Katie’s Holme… Knocked her up - and hey presto Tom isn’t gay anymore… Or so he thinks!

Feel free to have your say...
