The Beasts of VW
Volkswagen are now developing the evil monsters of their Jetta, Passat and Toureg Range. Lets take a quick skip through the differences in the stock standard versions and these beasts.

The Jetta Standard edition came out with a not too shabby 112kW, 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive system. Now however, a twin-turbocharged, twin-intercooled, 410kW variant of VW’s 3.2-litre, 180kW six-cylinder V6 sends power to the VW’s DSG twin-clutch transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive systems. A KW FIA GT 3-way coil-over race suspension and WRC-spec Brembo brake system were also installed to make sure that you can stop when you need to…

The Passat higher class came out with a decent 3.2 V6 FSI with DSG transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive. Not bad. So to get the ball rolling, they do a twin-turbo conversion package that features dual exhaust manifolds, each carrying turbocharger. Unsurprisingly it boasts an output of 430kW and massive torque to match. Yup… thats 430kw. Sticking to its rep of making playfull cars, the Passat GT R comes with a white Apple iPod module up front and a white Sony PSP in the rear. Nice.

Finally, the Toureg…initially a nice looking SUV with a nice V6 engine… and now? Well now its been upgraded to a 370kW monstrosity. The Touareg has a twin-turbocharged V6 under the hood, special chassis enhancements, a KW Variant three-way coilover suspension, and a high-performance braking system supplied by Brembo. To get the whole bling-bling thing going, they’ve dropped the suspension a bit so you can looking pimping good as you style down Main Street.
Nice to know that VW can still make monsters when the want to huh? Dang.
