Thieves snort dead dog’s ashes

Druggy theives tried to snort a bag of powder they found in Dee Blythe’s living room - not realising it was the ashes of her dead DOG.
The burglers thought they’d hit the jackpot when they saw the pale-colored powder marked “Charlie” - slang for cocaine - in a pot on pet-lover Dee’s mantelpiece.
But they were unaware the pot was an urn and contained the remains of her beloved Newfoundland Charlie who died in 1997. A PC called to probe the break-in at Chadwell Heath, Essex, fell about laughing when he saw the yobs had arranged the ashes into cocaine style LINES.
Bank worker Dee, 50, said: “I’d love to see their faces when these thieves realize. It was horrible knowing they were in my house, but the idea of them trying to get high on a dead dog made me feel better.
“I didn’t realize the significance until the policeman started laughing - he couldn’t wait to tell his mates back at the station.”
The thieves smashed down Dee’s front door before stealing two TV’s, a video-recorder, a hifi and gems worth £2000.
But police are tracking the culprits using DNA samples from the bag of Charlie’s ashes. Once cop said, “The way the ashes were packed made them look like drugs. But the thought of these criminals trying to get high on them is hilarious.”
That’s awesome. Charles in charge
