This makes me puke!

I’ve become quiet involved in a “Bold and the Beautiful” soap opera situation at work recently.

One of our employees has a child (yes it is his – he made him, he was there when he was born etc) which is now 10 or so. His mother and our employee split a few years back – their relationship has been somewhat volatile since – to say the least. Of course the child (as they always do) has taken the bad end of the stick – dad disappears, mom becomes bitter and of course maintenance becomes a word everyone disagrees about. So what are your responsibilities when you have a child – I am not talking legally etc I am talking morally. Our employee refuses to pay maintenance – why – he has too many excuses to list. What I think – it is totally disgusting!

Without getting into a fist fight with him I have made it pretty obvious that when you decide to procreate you take on the responsibility to provide for that child. I don’t care if your bitter, if your heart is in pain, if you chose to not have contact with the child, if you’re dead ass broke, if your house has to be repossessed, if you have more problems to list on one blog – your child needs care, food, nourishment etc etc And maybe I sound like some crazy woman on a rampage against all men – but I’m not because some women don’t pay maintenance either! My point is simply this – if you don’t want children or are not prepared to give them everything a child needs and deserves – keep it in your pants or get yourself snipped!

Too many children suffer – too many children cry and too many children have no future because of you – you disgusting man.
